Schedule for Pro Forma Sessions and Monday, July 20, 2020
The Senate stands adjourned to convene for pro forma sessions with no business conducted on the following dates and times:
Monday, July 6th at 11:15am;
Thursday, July 9th at 10:00am;
Monday, July 13th at 5:30pm; and
Thursday, July 16th at 10:30am.
When the Senate adjourns on Thursday, it will next convene at 3:00pm on Monday, July 20, 2020.
On Monday, following Leader remarks, the Senate will enter Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #718, Russell Vought, to be Director of the Office of Management and Budget, post-cloture.
As a result of cloture having been filed, there is a filing deadline for 1st degree amendments to substitute amendment #2301 and the underlying bill, S.4049: National Defense Authorization Act; the filing deadline for 2nd degree amendments is one hour prior to the cloture votes.
At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Vought nomination.
