The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #603, Edward Hulvey Meyers, of Maryland, to be a Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims, post-cloture.
At 11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Meyers nomination. Following disposition of the Meyers nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #706, Andrea R. Lucas, of Virginia, to be Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Following the Lucas cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
If cloture is invoked on the Lucas nomination, all post-cloture time will be considered expired, and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Lucas nomination. Following disposition of the Lucas nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Sonderling nomination.
If cloture is invoked on the Sonderling nomination, the confirmation vote is expected Tuesday afternoon, potentially during the 5:00pm hour.
