The Senate stands adjourned until 1:00pm on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #758, Brian Noland, of Tennessee, to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Valley Authority.
At approximately 1:30pm, the Senate will vote on cloture on the Noland nomination.
If cloture is invoked on the nomination, there would be up to 2 hours of post-cloture debate prior to a vote on confirmation of the nomination. Following disposition of the Noland nomination, the Senate will vote on cloture on Executive Calendar #591, Fernando L. Aenlle-Rocha, of California, to be United States District Judge for the Central District of California.
If cloture is invoked on the Aenlle-Rocha nomination, the confirmation vote is expected to occur during Sunday’s session.
The current continuing resolution expires at midnight tomorrow going into Monday.
