The Senate stands adjourned until 12:00 noon on Friday, February 12, 2021.

Following the prayer and pledge, the Senate will resume the impeachment trial of former President Donald John Trump. The former President’s lawyers will make their presentation for up to 8 hours.

On Friday, from 10:30am until 11:30am, the Senate is able to receive House messages and Executive matters; committees are authorized to report Legislative and Executive matters; and Senators are allowed to submit statements for the Record, introduce bills and resolutions, and make cosponsor requests.
