Senate stands adjourned until
11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
At 12:00 Noon, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of Executive Calendar #9, Jennifer Mulhern Granholm, to be Secretary of the Energy, post-cloture. There will be 10 minutes for debate, equally divided, followed by a vote on confirmation of the Granholm nomination.
At 1:30 p.m. the cloture motion with respect to Executive Calendar #16, Miguel A. Cardona, of Connecticut, to be Secretary of Education, will ripen and the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Cardona nomination.
