The

Following the prayer and pledge, we expect that Sonceria Ann Berry will be sworn in as Secretary of the Senate.
Following the swearing-in and Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of Executive Calendar #16, Miguel A. Cardona, of Connecticut, to be Secretary of Education.
At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Cardona nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #8, Gina Marie Raimondo, of Rhode Island, to be Secretary of Commerce.
Cloture has also been filed on Executive Calendar #13, Cecilia Elena Rouse, of New Jersey, to be Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers.
