Senate stands in recess
until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of Executive Calendar #29, Katherine C. Tai, of the District of Columbia, to be United States Trade Representative.
At 11:30 a.m., all post-cloture time will be considered expired and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Tai nomination.
Following disposition of the Tai nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #37, Xavier Becerra, of California, to be Secretary of Health and Human Services.
