Senate stands adjourned
until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of Executive Calendar #37, Xavier Becerra, of California, to be Secretary of Health and Human Services, post-cloture.
At 12:00 noon., all post-cloture time will be considered expired and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Becerra nomination.
Following disposition of the Becerra nomination, the Senate will consider Executive Calendar #17, Martin Joseph Walsh, of Massachusetts, to be Secretary of Labor. At 1:30 p.m., the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Walsh nomination.
