The
Senate stands adjourned
12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #55, Polly Ellen Trottenberg, of New York, to be Deputy Secretary of Transportation, post-cloture.
The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
At 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Trottenberg nomination. Following disposition of the Trottenberg nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #35, Wendy Ruth Sherman, of Maryland, to be Deputy Secretary of State.
Additional roll call votes are expected during Tuesday’s session.
