The Senate
stands adjourned to convene for pro forma sessions only
with no business conducted on the following dates and times:
Monday, May 3rd at 12:45pm; and
Thursday, May 6th at 4:00pm.
When the Senate adjourns on Thursday May 6th, it will next convene at 3:00pm on Monday, May 10, 2021.
On Monday, following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #69, Andrea Joan Palm, to be Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services.
At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Palm nomination.
Cloture has been filed on the following nominations:
1. Executive Calendar #69 Andrea Joan Palm, of Wisconsin, to be Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services
2. Executive Calendar #65 Cynthia Minette Marten, of California, to be Deputy Secretary of Education
