The
Senate stands adjourned until
10:00am on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #149, Christopher Charles Fonzone, of Pennsylvania, to be General Counsel of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, post-cloture.
At approximately 11:45am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Fonzone nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #107, Kiran Arjandas Ahuja, of Massachusetts, to be Director of the Office of Personnel Management.
Following the cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
If cloture is invoked on the Ahuja nomination, at approximately 2:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination.
Following disposition of the Ahuja nomination, the Senate will proceed to Legislative Session and resume consideration of the motion to proceed to S.2093 with the time until 5:30pm equally divided between the two Leaders or their designees.
At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Calendar #77, S.2093, For the People Act.
