Senate stands adjourned under the provisions of S.Res.451 until 9:30am
on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #463 Brian Eddie Nelson, of California, to be Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Crimes.
At approximately 10:00am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Nelson nomination followed by a vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Calendar #144, H.R.4350, National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022.
If cloture is invoked on the Nelson nomination, the vote on confirmation will occur at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Republican Leader.
