The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, November 18, 2021.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar #144, H.R.4350, National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022, post-cloture.

By unanimous consent, all time during adjournment, morning business, recess, and Leader time will count post-cloture on the motion to proceed.

During Thursday’s session, we hope to adopt the motion to proceed to the bill and consider amendments.

During Wednesday’s session, the Senate invoked cloture on Executive Calendar #463 Brian Eddie Nelson, of California, to be Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Crimes. At a time to be determined, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Nelson nomination.

Roll call votes are possible during Thursday’s session.
