Schedule for pro forma sessions and Monday, January 3, 2021
The Senate
stands for pro forma sessions only with no business conducted on the following
dates and times:
Monday, December 20th at 5:00pm;
Thursday, December 23rd at 11:00am;
Monday, December 27th at 4:30pm; and
Thursday, December 30th at 8:30am.
When the Senate adjourns on Thursday, December 30th, it will next convene at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 3rd pursuant to the Constitution.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
At 5:30pm, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of Executive Calendar #572 Gabriel Sanchez, of California, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit, and vote on confirmation of the nomination.
