Schedule for Tuesday, March 15, 2022

The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #726 Shalanda D. Young, of Louisiana, to be Director of the Office of Management and Budget, post-cloture.

The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

All post-cloture time on the Young nomination will expire at 4:00pm.

At approximately 4:00pm, we expect up to 3 roll call votes on the following items:

1.      Confirmation of Executive Calendar #726 Shalanda D. Young, of Louisiana, to be Director of the Office of Management and Budget

2.      Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #718 Susan Tsui Grundmann, of Virginia, to be a Member of the Federal Labor Relations Authority for a term of five years expiring July 1, 2025

3.      Roll call vote in relation to S.J.Res.37, providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention relating to "Requirement for Persons To Wear Masks While on Conveyances and at Transportation Hubs".

If cloture is invoked on the Grundmann nomination, we expect that the confirmation vote will occur during Wednesday’s session.
