The Senate stands adjourned until 10:30am on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #656 Jacqueline Corley, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of California. At approximately 11:45am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Corley nomination and on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #738, Fred Slaughter, to be United States District Judge for the Central District of California.

At 3:00pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #682 Ruth Bermudez Montenegro, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of California, and on Executive Calendar #678 Victoria Marie Calvert, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Georgia.

If cloture is invoked on any of the nominations, the confirmation votes will be at a time to be determined.

1.      Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #656 Jacqueline Scott Corley, of California, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of California

2.      Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #738 Fred W. Slaughter, of California, to be United States District Judge for the Central District of California

Wednesday at 3:00pm – 2 roll call votes:

1.      Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #682 Ruth Bermudez Montenegro, of California, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of California

2.      Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #678 Victoria Marie Calvert, of Georgia, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Georgia

A series of additional roll call votes in relation to the other nominations on which cloture has been filed are expected in the evening (the full list is included below).
