The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #860, Ketanji Brown Jackson, to be Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.

 

At 10:00 a.m., the Senate will vote on passage of H.R.7108, Suspending Normal Trade Relations with Russia and Belarus Act, as amended, and on H.R.6968, Suspending Energy Imports from Russia Act, as amended.

 

Following disposition of the bills, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Jackson nomination. The vote on confirmation could occur as early as 1:45 p.m. Senators will be notified when that vote is expected. Senators are asked to be in their seats for the vote on confirmation.

2.      Passage of H.R.6968, Suspending Energy Imports from Russia Act, as amended by SA #5021
