The Senate
stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #808 Lael Brainard, of the District of Columbia, to be Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, post-cloture.
The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
At approximately 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Brainard nomination. Unless an agreement is reached, following disposition of the nomination, the Senate would immediately vote on cloture on the Cook nomination (Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System). We hope to have this cloture vote later Tuesday afternoon.
