The Senate
stands adjourned until 2:30pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
As a reminder, the Senate will begin gathering in the Senate Chamber at 10:35am and depart at 10:40am to proceed as a body to the Hall of the House for the address to a Joint Meeting of Congress by His Excellency Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic.
At 2:30pm, following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar #368, H.R.7691, a bill to provide aid to Ukraine, post-cloture.
At 4:00pm, all post cloture time will expire and the Senate will vote on the motion to proceed to consideration of the bill. Following that vote the Senate will vote on the motions to invoke cloture on the Rochon, Thompson, and Sykes nominations. If cloture is invoked on the nominations, all post-cloture time will expire and the Senate will vote on confirmation at a time to be determined.
Following the cloture vote on the Sykes nomination, the Senate will resume legislative session and the consideration of Calendar #368, H.R.7691.
