Schedule for Thursday, June 23, 2022

The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, June 23, 2022.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of the motion to discharge the nomination of Jessica G. L. Clarke, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York. At 11:00am, the Senate will vote on the motion to discharge the Clarke nomination.

 

Following disposition of the motion, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the House amendment to S.2938 with amendment #5099, the vehicle for Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. If cloture is invoked, there would be up to 30 hours of post cloture debate time followed by a vote on the motion to concur in the House amendment to S.2938 with amendment #5099 (passage). Senators will be notified when the vote is expected to occur.

1.      Motion to discharge the nomination of Jessica G. L. Clarke, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York

2.      Motion to invoke cloture on the House amendment to S.2938 with amendment #5099
