Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #989 Gregory Brian Williams, of Delaware, to be United States District Judge for the District of Delaware.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on cloture on the Williams nomination. If cloture is invoked, the vote on confirmation will be at 2:30pm followed by a vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #971 Natasha C. Merle, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York.
The Senate could also consider the motion to proceed to Senator Braun’s budget resolution, S.Con.Res.43.
