The
Senate stands adjourned
until 10:00am on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the Message accompanying H.R.4346, legislative vehicle for the CHIPS+ legislation.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #1051, Reuben E. Brigety II, of Florida, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of South Africa.
During Wednesday’s session, Senate Schumer filed cloture on the motion to concur in the House Message with substitute amendment #5135 (re: CHIPS+).
