Schedule for pro forma sessions and Monday, January 23, 2023

The Senate stands in recess to convene for pro forma sessions only with no business conducted on the following dates and times:

Friday, January 6^th at 1:05pm

Tuesday, January 10^th at 10:00am

Friday, January 13^th at 1:30pm

Tuesday, January 17^th at 1:00pm

Friday, January 20^th at 1:00pm

When the Senate recesses on Friday, January 20^th, it will next convene at 3:00pm on Monday, January 23, 2023.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session for the consideration of the nomination of Brendan Owens, of Virginia, to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense.

At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Owens nomination.
