The Senate
stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, March 2, 2023.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #24 Colleen R. Lawless, of Illinois, to be United States District Judge for the Central District of Illinois, post-cloture.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Lawless nomination and on the motion to invoke cloture on the Gallagher nomination (CO District Judge).
If cloture is invoked on the Gallagher nomination, the confirmation vote will occur at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Republican Leader.
Following the Gallagher cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 1:45pm to allow for a Democratic Caucus meeting.
At approximately 1:45pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #35 Jonathan James Canada Grey, of Michigan, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan.
