Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #27 Jessica G. L. Clarke, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Clarke nomination and on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Calendar #25 S.316, to repeal the authorizations for use of military force against Iraq.
If cloture is invoked, at approximately 1:45pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Clarke nomination.
