The Senate
stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Calendar #28, S.870, Fire Grants and Safety Act.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on Paul amendment #79 (majority threshold) and Hagerty amendment #72 as modified (60 vote threshold).
Following disposition of the Hagerty amendment, Senator Tuberville or his designee will be recognized to make a motion to proceed to Calendar #35, S.J.Res.10, providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Department of Veterans Affairs relating to "Reproductive Health Services". The time until 4:15pm will be equally divided between the two Leaders or their designees, with the final 15 minutes equally divided in the same form.
The Senate will recess from 3:00pm until 4:00pm to allow for an All-Senators briefing, with the time counting equally to both sides.
At approximately 4:15pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to proceed to S.J.Res.10.
As a reminder, the only remaining amendments in order to the bill are the following:
Scott (FL) amdt #81 (60 vote threshold)
Van Hollen amdt #85 (60 vote threshold)
Sullivan amdt #83 (majority threshold)
