The Senate
stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #121, Michael Farbiarz, to be US District Judge for the District of New Jersey.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on the motions to invoke cloture on the Farbiarz nomination and on Executive Calendar #122, Robert Kirsch, to be US District Judge for the District of New Jersey.
Following the Kirsch cloture vote, the Senate will recess subject to the Call of the Chair to allow for the weekly caucus meetings and the 118th Congress photo. Senators should take their seats on the Floor following caucus lunch.
When the Senate reconvenes following the photo, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Farbiarz nomination.
At approximately 5:00pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Kirsch nomination and on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #123, Orelia Eleta Merchant, to be US District Judge for the Eastern District of New York.
