The Senate
stands in recess until 10:00am on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume Executive Session.
The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
At 2:30pm, it will be in order for a motion to proceed to be made to H.J.Res.45, providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Department of Education relating to "Waivers and Modifications of Federal Student Loans".
At approximately 2:30pm, the Senate is expected to vote on the motion to proceed to H.J.Res.45.
If the motion to proceed is agreed to, the vote on passage of the joint resolution will be at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader following consultation with the Republican Leader on Thursday, June 1st.
