The Senate
stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #157 Elizabeth Allen, of New York, to be Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, post-cloture.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Allen nomination and cloture on Executive Calendar #25 Hernan D. Vera, of California, to be United States District Judge for the Central District of California.
Following the Vera cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
At approximately 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on cloture on Executive Calendar #171 Jared Bernstein, of Virginia, to be Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers.
The Senate will recess from 3:30pm until 4:30pm to allow for an All Senators briefing.
If cloture is invoked, at approximately 5:00pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Vera and Bernstein nominations.
During Wednesday’s session, the cloture vote on the Pitts nomination will occur at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Republican Leader.

5. Executive Calendar #29 Nusrat Jahan Choudhury, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York
6. Executive Calendar #23 Julie Rikelman, of Massachusetts, to be United States Circuit Judge for the First Circuit
