Schedule for Wednesday, July 12, 2023

The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.

At 11:30am the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #8 Tiffany M. Cartwright, of Washington, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington.   Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #34 Myong J. Joun, of Massachusetts, to be United States District Judge for the District of Massachusetts.

At approximately 2:30pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Joun nomination.  Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #114 Kalpana Kotagal, of Ohio, to be a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

At approximately 5:30pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Kotagal nomination.  Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #141 David M. Uhlmann, of Michigan, to be an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.
