Schedule for Pro Formas and Tuesday September 5, 2023

The Senate stands adjourned for pro forma sessions only with no business conducted on the following dates and times:

On Tuesday, August 22nd from 12:00pm until 2:00pm Committees are authorized to report Legislative and Executive matters.

 

When the Senate adjourns on Friday, September 1st  it will next convene at 3:00pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive session to resume consideration of Executive Calendar #256 Philip Nathan Jefferson, of North Carolina, to be Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of four years.

 

Cloture has been filed on the following nominations:

  1. Executive Calendar #256 Philip Nathan Jefferson, of North Carolina, to be Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of four years
  2. Executive Calendar #260 - Gwynne A. Wilcox, of New York, to be a Member of the National Labor Relations Board for the term of five years expiring August 27, 2028
  3. Executive Calendar #255 Lisa DeNell Cook, of Michigan, to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of fourteen years from February 1, 2024
  4. Executive Calendar #257 Adriana Debora Kugler, of Maryland, to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for the unexpired term of fourteen years from February 1, 2012
  5. Executive Calendar #253 Anna M. Gomez, of Virginia, to be a Member of the Federal Communications Commission for a term of five years from July 1, 2021
