The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, September 7, 2023.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive session to resume consideration of Executive Calendar #257 Adriana Debora Kugler, of Maryland, to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for the unexpired term of fourteen years from February 1, 2012, post-cloture.
At approximately 11:45am, all post-cloture time will be considered expired and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Kugler nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #253 Anna M. Gomez, of Virginia, to be a Member of the Federal Communications Commission for a term of five years from July 1, 2021.
If cloture is invoked on the Gomez nomination, all post-cloture time will be considered expired at 1:45pm and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination.
