The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session for the consideration of Executive Calendar #309, Jennifer L. Hall, of Pennsylvania, to be United States District Judge for the District of Delaware, post-cloture.

 

At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Hall nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on

Executive Calendar #297, Julia Kathleen Munley, of Pennsylvania, to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

 

Following the cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

 

If cloture is invoked, at approximately 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Munley nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #53, Karla Ann Gilbride, of Maryland, to be General Counsel of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for a term of four years.

 

If cloture is invoked, the vote on confirmation of the Gilbride nomination is expected to occur during Tuesday’s session.

1.      Confirmation of Executive Calendar #309, Jennifer L. Hall, of Pennsylvania, to be United States District Judge for the District of Delaware

2.      Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #297, Julia Kathleen Munley, of Pennsylvania, to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

 

Tuesday, October 17th at approx. 2:15pm – 2 roll call votes expected:

1.      Confirmation of Executive Calendar #297, Julia Kathleen Munley, of Pennsylvania, to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

2.      Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #53, Karla Ann Gilbride, of Maryland, to be General Counsel of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for a term of four years.
