The Senate

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to the consideration of Calendar #198, H.R.4366, Minibus Appropriations.
Senator Paul is expected to make a motion to discharge S.J.Res.44, directing the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities in the Republic of Niger that have not been authorized by Congress, from the Foreign Relations Committee.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate is expected to vote on the Paul motion to discharge S.J.Res.44. If the motion is not agreed to, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R.4366 Minibus appropriations and vote on Braun amendment #1182 (re: earmarks).
Following disposition of the Braun amendment, the Senate will move to the consideration of Calendar #229, S.J.Res.42, providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Food and Nutrition Service relating to "Application of Bostock v. Clayton County to Program Discrimination Complaint Processing-Policy Update".
There will be up to 30 minutes of debate equally divided. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will vote on passage of the joint resolution.
