The Senate
stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #38 Ramon Ernesto Reyes, Jr., of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York, post-cloture.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Reyes nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #373 Charlotte A. Burrows, of the District of Columbia, to be a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
If cloture is invoked on the nomination, at approximately 2:20pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Burrows nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #310 Brandy R. McMillion, of Michigan, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan.
If cloture is invoked on the McMillion nomination, the vote on confirmation of the nomination will occur at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Republican Leader.
Following the McMillion cloture vote, the Senate will resume Legislative session and proceed to the consideration of Calendar #238, S.J.Res.38, providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Federal Highway Administration relating to "Waiver of Buy America Requirements for Electric Vehicle Chargers".
At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on passage of S.J.Res.38. Following disposition of the joint resolution, the Senate will resume Executive Session and vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #126 Monica Ramirez Almadani, of California, to be United States District Judge for the Central District of California.
If cloture is invoked on the nomination, the confirmation vote will occur at approximately 11:30am on Thursday, November 9th.

4. Executive Calendar #222 Ana de Alba, of California, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit
