Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #223 Irma Carrillo Ramirez, of Texas, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fifth Circuit, post-cloture.
At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Ramirez nomination.
Cloture has been filed on the following nominations:
1. Executive Calendar #263 Loren L. AliKhan, of the District of Columbia, to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia
2. Executive Calendar #144 Elizabeth H. Richard, of Virginia, a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Career Minister, to be Coordinator for Counterterrorism, with the rank and status of Ambassador at Large
