The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #263 Loren L. AliKhan, of the District of Columbia, to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia.
At approximately 11:30am, cloture will ripen on the Alikhan nomination and the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture.
The Senate will then recess until 2:15pm to allow for weekly caucus meetings.
Additional roll call votes with respect to the Alikhan and Richard nominations are expected during Tuesday’s session.
This evening Senator Schumer filed cloture on Executive Calendar #317 Nathalie Rayes, of Massachusetts, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Croatia and on the motion to proceed to Cal. #30 H.R. 815, legislative vehicle for supplemental appropriations.
