The Senate
stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #317 Nathalie Rayes, of Massachusetts, to be Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia.
At approximately 12:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Rayes nomination.
Additional roll call votes are expected Wednesday afternoon on confirmation of the Rayes nomination and cloture on the motion to proceed to Calendar #30 H.R. 815, legislative vehicle for supplemental appropriations. Another message will be sent when those votes are set.
During Tuesday’s session, Senator Schumer filed cloture on Executive Calendar #352 Richard E.N. Federico, of Kansas, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Tenth Circuit. The cloture vote is expected during Thursday’s session.
