Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #375 Erika L. McEntarfer, of the District of Columbia, to be Commissioner of Labor Statistics, Department of Labor, for a term of four years.
At 11:45am the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the McEntarfer nomination. If cloture is invoked, all post-cloture time will be considered expired at 1:45pm and the Senate will vote on confirmation.
During Wednesday’s session the cloture petition with respect to Executive Calendar #311 Karoline Mehalchick, of Pennsylvania, to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania was withdrawn.
