The Senate
stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #518 Ronald T. Keohane, of New York, to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense, post-cloture.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #529 Moshe Z. Marvit, of Pennsylvania, to be a Member of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission.
Following the cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
At approximately 2:15pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Marvit nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #456 Cathy Ann Harris, of Maryland, to be Chairman of the Merit Systems Protection Board.
If cloture is invoked, at approximately 5:45pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Harris nomination.
During Tuesday’s session, Senator Schumer filed cloture on Executive Calendar #506 Adrienne Jennings Noti, of the District of Columbia, to be an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia for the term of fifteen years.
Additional votes are possible during Wednesday’s session.
