The Senate
stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #117 Jose Javier Rodriguez, of Florida, to be an Assistant Secretary of Labor.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Rodriguez nomination, upon reconsideration.
If cloture is invoked, at approximately 2:00pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will resume Legislative session and proceed to the consideration of Calendar #340, S.J.Res.62, CRA re: Importation of Beef from Paraguay, and immediately vote on passage of the joint resolution.
Upon disposition of the joint resolution, the Senate will resume Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #532 Leon Schydlower, of Texas, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas.
