The Senate
stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #534 Susan M. Bazis, of Nebraska, to be United States District Judge for the District of Nebraska, post-cloture.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Bazis nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #542 Robert J. White, of Michigan, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Following the cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
Cloture has also been filed on Executive Calendar #535 Ann Marie McIff Allen, of Utah, to be United States District Judge for the District of Utah.
Additional roll call votes in relation to the White and Allen nominations are expected during Tuesday’s session.
