Completed the Rule 14 process to place the following joint resolutions on the Calendar of Business:

1.      S.J.Res.67, to provide for related procedures concerning the articles of impeachment against Alejandro Nicholas Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security (ELL24116 L38) (Lee)

2.      S.J.Res.68, providing for the issuance of a summons, providing for the appointment of a committee to receive and to report evidence, and establishing related procedures concerning the articles of impeachment against Alejandro Nicholas Mayorkas (Lee)

3.      S.J.Res.69, to provide for related procedures concerning the articles of impeachment against Alejandro Nicholas Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security (ELL24114 130) (Lee)

At a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Republican Leader but no later than Friday, April 19, 2024, the Senate will proceed to the consideration of S.4072 (Tailpipe emissions). There will be up to 2 hours for debate, equally divided. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will vote on passage of the bill, with 60-affirmative votes required for passage.
