The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of  Executive Calendar #535 Ann Marie McIff Allen, of Utah, to be United States District Judge for the District of Utah, post-cloture.  At 12:00pm all post-cloture time will be considered expired and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Allen nomination.

 

Following disposition of the Allen nomination the Senate will resume Legislative Session and proceed to the consideration of Cal. #359, S.J.Res.61 A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Federal Highway Administration relating to "National Performance Management Measures; Assessing Performance of the National Highway System, Greenhouse Gas Emissions Measure.”  At 2:45pm the joint resolution will be considered read a third time and the Senate will vote on passage.

 

Upon disposition of S.J.Res.61 the Senate will proceed to the immediate consideration of H.J.Res.98 Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the National Labor Relations Board relating to "Standard for Determining Joint Employer Status.”  At 5:00pm the joint resolution will be considered read a third time and the Senate will vote on passage.
