Schedule for Pro Forma Session and Tuesday, April 30, 2024
The Senate stands adjourned for a pro forma session only with no business conducted on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 10:00am.
When the Senate adjourns on April 26 it will next convene at 3:00pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session for the consideration of Executive Calendar #598, Georgia N. Alexakis, of Illinois, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.
At approximately 5:30pm the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Alexakis nomination.
During Tuesday’s Session cloture was also filed on the motion to proceed to Cal. #211, H.R.3935, An act to amend title 49, United States Code, to reauthorize and improve the Federal Aviation Administration and other civil aviation programs, and for other purposes.
