The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday,
June 5, 2024.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of Executive Calendar #511 Judith E. Pipe, of the District of Columbia, to be an Associate Judge of the D.C. Superior Court, post-cloture.
At approximately 12:00 noon, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Pipe nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #590 Stephanie Sanders Sullivan, of Maryland, to be Representative to the African Union, with the rank and status of Ambassador.
If cloture is invoked on the Sullivan nomination, the confirmation vote will occur at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Republican Leader.
At approximately 3:45pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Calendar #400, S.4381, Right to Contraception Act.
Senators are encouraged to vote in a timely manner to prevent delays.
