The Senate stands in recess until 10:00am on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

During Thursday’s session we expect Senator Cruz to make a motion to discharge S.J.Res.89, A joint resolution to direct the termination of the use of United States Armed Forces for the construction, maintenance, and operation of the Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore pier on the coast of the Gaza Strip that has not been authorized by Congress, from the Foreign Relations Committee.  We expect a vote in relation to that motion at approximately 11:45am.

We also expect to vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #536 Robin Michelle Meriweather, Judge of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims at approximately 1:45pm.
