Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #700 Rose E. Jenkins, of the District of Columbia, to be a Judge of the United States Tax Court for a term of fifteen years, post-cloture.
At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination.
During Thursday’s session, Senator Schumer filed cloture on Executive Calendar #550, Michael Sfraga to be Ambassador at Large for Arctic Affairs, and Cal. #457, H.R.1555 "Corporal Michael D. Anderson Jr. Post Office Building" (legislative vehicle for CR).
