The Senate stands adjourned until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #788 Jonathan E. Hawley, of Illinois, to be United States District Judge for the Central District of Illinois.
At approximately 12:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Hawley nomination.
Following the cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
If cloture is invoked, at approximately 2:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Hawley nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #620 David Huitema, of Maryland, to be Director of the Office of Government Ethics for a term of five years.
Additional roll call votes are expected during Wednesday’s session with respect to the pending nominations. Another message will be sent when additional information is available.

4. Executive Calendar #704 Embry J. Kidd, of Florida, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Eleventh Circuit
