The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #464 Mustafa Taher Kasubhai, of Oregon, to be District Judge for the District of Oregon.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Kasubhai nomination.
Following the cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
If cloture is invoked, at approximately 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Kasubhai nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #466 Sarah French Russell, of Connecticut, to be District Judge for the District of Connecticut.
Additional roll call votes are expected during Tuesday’s session.
